About The Author

Hello! Thanks for reading my blog. My name is Rebecca and I am a travel enthusiast, story telling, book loving, feminist Christian. I am currently studying counseling and theology at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago. I believe in the full equality of women outside and within the Church. I also believe that every Christian has the job of theologian, we all have a need and ability to understand what the Bible says for ourselves. I have a passion for empowering women to find their voices as I find my own through writing this blog. My goal is share some of the things I have learned and start a conversation regarding "the woman question" and hopefully shed some light on some difficult passages in the Bible that seem to disempower women at first glance. I desire to see women take up their God given roles as ministers and leaders in Christ's body.
